Google Apps [google.nd.edu] is a suite of tools that includes Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sites, and more. For students only, gMail (Google Mail) is also part of the package. Log in to Google Apps for Notre Dame using your NetID and password (uses CAS, same as Sakai).
Google Drive is a storage space, much like Box. Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students have a 5GB quota of space. You can upload any kind of file and it can be shared with others.
Google Docs are files you create and edit online: documents (word processing), spreadsheets, forms (tied to spreadsheets), drawings, or presentations. Docs are saved in Google Drive and can be shared with others. Multiple people can edit a doc at the same time.
